In 1991, Paddlefish released their debut album titled “Something Fishy” under the Pair of Jacks Record label. The band quickly turned heads playing the Detroit circuit which caught the attention of smaller indie labels as well as more prominent talent buyers for festivals and larger shows. Unfortunaley the band split up in 1995 shortly after they began recording their follow album, Dredlochness.
The young group never reunited and unfortunately the master analog tapes for both albums were lost in the shuffle of life. In 2025, Tim decided to take a shot at remastering the group’s debut recordings directly from the 1991 Cassette with hopes to re-release the album on Vinyl for the 35th anniversary.
Something Fishy will be available for purchase online in addition to a few select record stores. In the meantime, you can pre-order your collector’s edition Paddlefish “Something Fishy 12” Vinyl LP by visiting our official Shop Page!
