STUDIO RECORDING AND MIXING RATES

We offer recording & mixing both “By The Hour” as well as “By The Block”. To book studio time by the hour, a session deposit will be required to secure the date and time that you choose. Your session deposit can be placed in person at our Royal Oak facility or more conveniently here on our official web site.

Due to our very competitive and inexpensive rates, there is also a three hour minimum requirement on all hourly booked sessions.

To book studio time by the block, you will be required to purchase the desired block in full at time of booking. Your studio block can be purchased by appointment at our Royal Oak facility or more conveniently here on our official web site.

There are no refunds on deposits made for studio time.

WHAT IS MASTERING?

The final bridge between the recording studio and the consumer begins here! High-grade, broadcast-quality CD mastering at an affordable price!

Whether you are simply looking to add sparkle to your mix or a complete full mastering, our experienced staff has got you covered!

Audio mastering is typically a drop-off service; therefore additional fees may apply if you would like to be present during the mastering process.

Please print, fill out, and include the Mastering Information form with your mastering order.

Placing an order for mastering can be done by appointment at our Royal Oak Facility or more conveniently here on our official website. For more information about mastering and submission formats, please contact a Soundscape representative by phone or via the Studio Inquiry form.

Forensic Audio Enhancement Rates

We offer Forensic Audio Enhancement services starting at a base rate of $225.00 per hour. This type of work requires analysis of the audio samples first to determine the potential depth of enhancement. During this initial analysis our audio engineers will also determine an estimation of work hours required to complete the audio enhancement service. Once the estimate has been processed, a 50% deposit will be required to begin the audio enhancement work with the balance due upon completion. Audio enhancement work estimated beyond four hours will first require a ten-hour non-refundable retainer deposit.

What Is Audio Forensic Enhancement?

Forensic Audio Enhancement involves a unique process using powerful audio tools which can be used to help eliminate a portion of the background noise while increasing intelligibility and speech comprehensibility. These services are typically desired to aid with legal investigations, however quite often we are hired to enhance audio for a variety of other reasons.
