It’s a new year and I’m excited to get back in the hot seat of making music with talented bands and musicians but as it turns out, I need to get back on the search for a dedicated assistant engineer.
I’m not looking for just “any assistant” though. I need someone who knows their stuff. Someone who understands the dynamic of a recording studio. Someone who is loyal, trustworthy, ambitious and genuinely wants to see The Soundscape continue to grow and be successful. I’m not looking for someone who knows everything. I need someone who knows a lot but wants to learn so much more. I should also mention I’m not interested in bringing on an assistant who currently has a studio serving the public and or works at another studio.
An Assistant Engineer should have knowledge and experience with the art of making records, the gear we use and a real desire to be useful (an asset to The Soundscape).
Keep in mind we offer much more than a typical recording studio. We are also a school for the recording arts, and we host several Educational Clinics throughout the year. My assistant engineer will be needed on both sides of the business.
If you think you might be a good fit as my new Studio Assistant Engineer, send us a message or call the studio directly to set up an interview.
